    Jiminy! This place was amazing.  I had the salad bowl with brisket and it was delicious. The brisket was tender and seasoned perfectly. All toppings were fresh and yummy. My husband had the nachos with brisket. He loved the homemade chips. But back to the brisket, the owner informed us that this recipe is his mother's. Way to go mom!
    We impulsively bought a chocolate mousse cupcake ( made by the owner's sister) and it was NOT mediocre. Delicious!
    Everything about this place was a home run. Our visit started with the owner explaining how the menu worked and ended with a friendly chat. He's awesome as is his place.

    Came here on a Tuesday middle of lunch rush and the line was backed up to the door. I saw the ultimate example of team work. I counted 7 employees, including the owner himself, Tavo, working together. Every one of them was patient, welcoming, and all seemed to know their process. I was through the line and eating within 5 minutes. Not only that, they know every guest that comes through the door!  
    I ordered 3 brisket street tacos. The beef was piled high, very juicy, and flavorful. Didn't think 3 tacos would fill me up, but I was wrong.
    Think I found my regular eatery for Tuesday's.

    Outstanding food. Very well prepared. Tremendous amount of options and combinations available.  If you leave hungry, it's your fault! Everything we tried was utterly amazing. The portions were very generous and the prices are super reasonable. If you're ever in Lufkin, I would highly recommend stopping here to eat... but not on Sunday, they're always closed then for a family day. Thank you Skyline Burrito Bowl for an outstanding, pleasurable experience. We WILL be back.

    Does a burrito bowl place get five stars? Yeah why the heck not? I mean it was good. It was a lot of food and it was a good price. Que más quieres? I mean...  it was clean and staff was friendly. How this isn't a chain or franchise I'll never know.

    My fav go-to spot for lunch when in Lufkin.  They always have some sort of interesting fresh fruit juice concoction that's worth a try as well.
